World Summit 2009 Presenters: Dr. Jennyfer Toplak

Dr. Jennyfer Toplak is an enthusiastic young artist working in the medium of fine oil painting with a focus on "Hyper Realism".

Born to be an artist. A native of Venezuela, Jennyfer comes from an integrated Euro-Venezuelan family filled with artists. Since early childhood, Jennyfer showed a love for drawing and painting. She became well known for her creative and artistic abilities, always being selected to design and decorate major projects for her community as well as life size drawings for events and holidays and became the editor in chief of her school newspaper. While in high school, Jennyfer became an early advocate and supporter of conservation and environmental awareness and was chosen to make a pro-environment presentation before the Venezuelan President and National Assembly.

With a talent, not only for art, but science and biology as well, she became a medical doctor. As a Medical Doctor, Jennyfer was able to combine her artistic facility and medical training in the field of esthetic medicine and plastic surgery.

After marrying and moving to the United States, Jennyfer studied art with a renown Castilian Master and began to focus on the "Classical" styles and skills of the Old Masters. Perhaps because of her medical background, she soon discovered a profound ability to portray the human image and began directing her creativity to the depiction of women and children with a special focus on the very difficult areas of faces and hands. In her first solo exhibition entitled "Homage To The Old Masters", Jennyfer created a magnificent group of fine oil paintings depicting Classical realism of the Renaissance and Victorian periods.

As a long time advocate of environmental awareness and re-focusing on this recurrent theme in her life, Jennyfer has embarked on a campaign to create awareness of environmental issues. Accordingly, she has developed a series of paintings that seek to entice the viewer to ponder the relationship between humanity and the environment, and motivate people to help save the planet.
